Giovanni Tacconi

Managing Director, Vice President Manitex International

Giovanni Tacconi is the CEO of PM OIL & STEEL S.p.A., part of Manitex, and vice president of Manitex International.  He joined PM Oil & Steel S.p.A. in November 2003.  Prior to becoming C.E.O., Tacconi was Founder and President of PM North America, in Rolling Meadows , IL, than Sales Director Worldwide and General Manager.

Prior to PM OIL & STEEL S.p.A., Tacconi was Sales Director in Italtractor America, Part of ITM, a global earthmoving components manufacturer.

Tacconi has nearly 30 years’ experience in Construction, Lifting, Mining, Equipment Manufacturing and Distributions.  He began his career in the industry in 1994, joining WAM S.p.A., industrial components, as sales manager based in Spain.

Giovanni Tacconi holds a Master Degree in Industrial Economy from UNIMORE University in Italy.
