Brian Engelkes

Controller

Brian Engelkes is the Controller of Manitex North America. A CPA since 1995, Brian joined Manitex in May, 2022 and is primarily based in the Georgetown TX manufacturing facility. Prior to joining Manitex, Brian was the North American controller of DynaEnergetics, a manufacturer of perforating systems with responsibility over all manufacturing and distribution centers in the United States and Canada.

Brian‘s 30+ year career is entirely in manufacturing with experience in products in the magnetics, industrial valves, faucets and perforating systems industries. Brian began his career as a cost accountant for Arnold Magnetic Technologies. During his tenure at Arnold Magnetic Technologies, he advanced to Financial Planning & Analysis and then into Controllership. He spent 13 years with Tyco/Pentair Valves and Controls with increasing responsibility from a single site controller, to multi-site controller and eventually held the position of Operations Finance Manager, America’s Region. Brian’s experience includes a wide range of manufacturing operations including machining, welding, metal stamping, plating, electronics, assembly, paint, test and plastic injection molding.

Brian is licensed through the State of Illinois and is an active member of both the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society.
